ARTISTSCHAIR.COM INTRODUCES TWO NEW FEATURES TO DIRECTORY;
ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONAL SPONSOR; AND PLANS FOR ITS FIRST NETWORKING EVENT

Two new features added to help local artists and the artistic community; Sponsor signs on to assist getting word out; and
1300 Gallery to be the location of first artistschair.com networking event

CLEVELAND (October 19, 2005) – As artistschair.com celebrates its sixth month of operation since being launched last April, Founder and President, Jeon Francis is proud to announce two new features that have been added to the artistschair.com directory, a Resources section and the Bulletin Board Classifieds. Both new features are available to artistschair.com members and users free of charge and are accessible from the navigation bar on the artistschair.com Home page as well as from every other page on the site.

NEW RESOURCES SECTION
The recently added Resources section is designated to highlight and offer a descriptive listing of arts-related organizations throughout Northeast Ohio. This section is divided into eight field-related sub pages which include Advocacy, Dance, Film, Music, Online Directories, Talent Agencies, Theatre and the Visual Arts.

"The development of the Resources section was born from requests received from those within the local artistic community seeking to have their organization maintain more of a presence on the artistschair.com directory. Influence to create this section also came from inquiries received from both out-of-town artists and visitors searching to gain a better understanding of the different types of organization that our artistic community is comprised of," says Francis. Introducing this section to the directory will allow us to broaden the resources artistschair.com offers to both its members and users as well as work towards reaching the goal of better unifying the various disciplines and resources of the artistic community within Northeast Ohio."

"Having available a centralized online resource of listings and information of multi-disciplined arts-related organizations in our region has been long overdue, says Toni Gras, Managing Director of Csárdás Dance Company. To systematically have many of our region's arts and cultural organizations represented in one easily accessible resource will help better promote Csárdás Dance Company and our city's artistic community as a whole."

Below is an example of how a listing is posted in the Resources section:

Workshop Players Theater-in-the-Round, Inc.
The mission of the Workshop Players is to welcome all participants to balance work and play in producing high quality theatre in an intimate space. The theatre seats 100 patrons in 2-3 rows completely surrounding a 13' x 21' stage. At 58 seasons, the Workshop Players is the oldest, continuously operating, arena theater in Ohio and tends to produce main stream shows that appeal to diverse audiences. The Workshop Players is an all volunteer organization.

Further discussions between the NEohioPAL e-mail list service and artistschair.com Bulletin Board Classifieds are also in the process of being discussed.

FIRST ARTISTSCHAIR.COM NETWORKING EVENT PLANNED
Despite unsuccessful attempts to raise funds through foundation support, artistschair.com Founder and President Jeon Francis and his team of volunteers and members and users are moving forward to host the site's first networking event, entitled Creative Connections, for regional artists and those who hire creative talent and services.

In addition to providing a space for artists and talent seekers to network and co-mingle, artistschair.com is also providing the opportunity for artists who are members of artistschair.com and in need of digital images of themselves to be photographed free of charge by one of two Cleveland-based professional photographers, D.S. Resch and Steve Wagner. Both photographers are artistschair.com members and their talent profiles and samples of their work can be found by clicking on their names above or searching the artistschair.com talent directory.

Entertainment for the event will also include artistschair.com members DJ Deviant (also know as David Christopher of HeadRush Music) and fire performing sensation Aaron Bonk.

Creative Connections will take place Wednesday, November 9 from 6:30-9:30 pm at 1300 Gallery located at 1300 West 78th Street off Lake Avenue.
