ARTISTSCHAIR.COM TO HOST NETWORKING EVENT
Two new features added to help local artists and the artistic community; Sponsor signs on to assist getting word out; and 1300 Gallery to be the location of first artistschair.com networking event CLEVELAND (October 24, 2005) – Founder and President Jeon Francis is proud to announce the first artistschair.com networking event, Creative Connections, taking place on Wednesday, November 9 at 1300 Gallery in Cleveland. Despite unsuccessful attempts to raise funds through foundation support, Jeon Francis and his team of volunteers and members and users are moving forward to organize the event to provide a social opportunity for regional artists of all creative disciplines and those that hire talent to network, co-mingle (and party of course!). The evening will also include entertainment as well as the opportunity for artistschair.com members that are in need of digital images to be photographed at no charge by one of two Cleveland-based professional photographers, D.S. Resch and Steve Wagner. Both photographers are artistschair.com are required to pre-register if they would like to be photographed. Entertainment for the event will include artistschair.com members DJ Deviant (also known as David Christopher of HeadRush Music) and fire performing sensation Aaron Bonk. Creative Connections Networking Event will take place Wednesday, November 9 from 6:30-9:30 pm at 1300 Gallery located at 1300 West 78th Street off Lake Avenue. The event is free and open to all artistschair.com members and users and the general public. No RSVP is required to attend. Attendees are highly encouraged to bring business cards and/or materials relating to their field of talent, services, arts-related programs and projects. Because of a limited budget, attendees are also asked to BYOB (bring your own bottle).
