Clear Channel Outdoor is including artistschair.com ads on new electronic billboards CLEVELAND (June 21, 2005) – Founder and President Jeon Francis is proud to welcome the second major sponsor of artistschair.com since the directory became active in April. Clear Channel Outdoor, the company introducing new electronic billboards to the Cleveland area, is showing its support of local artists and the artistic community by including full-screen artistschair.com ads on these displays. ads (such as the one at the left) began running late last week and
can be seen every eight minutes for eight seconds on all seven of
Clear Channel's full-color light-emitting diode electronic
billboards, which are positioned primarily on freeways such as I-90 and
Route 2."I'm ecstatic that companies from the business community, such as Omni Media (see 6-17-05 press release) and now Clear Channel, are recognizing the need to help Cleveland embrace and better promote our local artists and artistic community, " says Jeon Francis. "Artistschair.com's main goals are to empower our local artists by providing a centralized online directory for them to promote themselves and to offer a free and easily-accessible resource to those in need of readily-available talent and services from our area." In size the billboards measure 14' (high) x 48' (wide) and are visible to pedestrian and vehicular traffic both day and night. The artistschair.com ads are expected to run through late June. Artistschair.com currently features more than 260 members from all over Northeast Ohio and offers 108 different talent fields ranging from stage actors and musicians to graphic designers and publicists.
